I've now imported two cars via Autoport, both PHEVs, and I am happy to report that on both occasions I found the process to be seamless. Each time their team took care of everything from pre-purchase inspection in Japan to compliance and vinning in NZ, providing email updates along the way - the only hard part was waiting for my vehicles to arrive! The only paperwork on my end was applying to NZTA for the Clean Car Rebate. I had never purchased a vehicle on-line before, so I was apprehensive about how it all worked. I need not have worried, Autoport was obviously experienced as they answered all my questions reassuringly and allayed my fears by explaining the process clearly to me. They informed me of progress as it happened, the clearance, the loading, the transporting, even the whereabouts of the ship and its ports of call. Whatever paper work was required of them, they informed me, asked me in a timely fashion for my documents. I never felt under pressure and was impressed with their efficiency. I was even met at the airport and taken to their depot where again, all the paperwork was completed, and the car was mine! But it didn't stop there. I can't read Japanese. However, my queries about how something worked on the dashboard were patiently explained. The car is going well! I would not hesitate to recommend this company, and method of purchasing, to anyone. And I am really enjoying the car.

I found the service provided by Autoport NZ effortless, timely and efficient. After deciding on the make and model of car I wanted to purchase, I browsed their website and found a late model, low mileage Toyota Roomy at a reasonable price. It would have been impossible to find a car of equivalent quality or price in any car yard in NZ, I know because I tried. Whilst purchasing a car sight unseen may seem risky, the vehicle exceeded my expectations. It arrived sooner than expected in immaculate condition with WOF, Rego, mechanical warranty and full tank of petrol. Excellent value for money. The Toyota Roomy has many features a more expensive car has, and I highly recommend this make, model of car to others.
