I had a great experience buying through Autoport. After I had selected a vehicle in Japan the Autoport team swung into gear and their Japanese agent checked the vehicle out at the car lot. I wanted to make sure it was accident free, the mileage was as indicated and the car was in good condition for its age. After making sure all was Ok I entered into a purchase agreement and the deposit was paid. From that point on the purchase was without any hassles. When the car arrived at the Japanese departure dock it was checked out by Autoport's accredited agents to meet NZ Government entry requirements. It passed with flying colours and was then on the boat to NZ. On arrival in NZ all the compliance details were handled professionally by Autoport and then the balance of the purchase was paid. After registration was completed the car was ready for pickup. At all stages of the purchase I was kept fully informed by Autoport's friendly staff, Daniel and Carlene. The thought of importing a car was something my wife and I have thought about in the past, but it fell into the too hard basket and we had no idea where to start, that was until a friend introduced me to Autoport. Autoport had 1000’s of cars to choose from and we found a late model car with much lower km’s and price than we could find from any dealer here in NZ and they took care of absolutely everything. We were a little apprehensive during the 6 week wait for the car to arrive but we needn’t have been as Autoport kept us up to date every step of the way and when the car arrived it exceeded our expectations and had been valeted to a near new look.
